Made for giraffes or rhinos, not horses

Don't waste your money. This is done incorrectly in horses and the measurements are not entirely accurate. I have three warmbloods and they all usually wear an oversized or warmblood size that fits them perfectly. It doesn't suit any of them. I've even tried it on my half-Arab but it's so poorly constructed it doesn't fit him either. Looks nice but sucks.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • So far so good

The most durable fly mask ever!

The second flight season with this mask is over. I'm tempted to throw it away and buy a new one next year, but I think I'll fix a small hole or two and keep it as a spare. This compares to Cashel who was almost trash after one season as a backup mask. The ones I throw away! Next year I will definitely buy a new one! Highly recommended!

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • I'll write later

Great so far! masked

I've been using this mask on my quarter horse for a month now and so far so good! She couldn't pull it off like the others in the past. It is the size of a lump and fits her face well. The only thing I would have liked differently is that it had a cutout for the forelock. She has a lot of hair and it always sticks to her face when I take the mask off, but otherwise so far so good! At the end of the summer I will check how well it has held up.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

The highest quality fly masks I have bought so far

First I bought a red fly mask with ears and a nose. My Friesian sport horse could wear it without any problems. The adjustable cut of the mask is perfect for him and it is a very well designed mask. I like the inner fleece that doesn't leave burn marks from rubbing the seams. The "see-in-the-dark” design is also very valuable to us. I just bought a second mask in blue. I also like the coloring. This mask should be around as long as there are horses on this planet. :-)

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • a little wrinkled

Horse size from

I bought this Cobb sized mask (arrived May 11th) for my Cobb Welsh pony after comparing the sizes to the Cashell mask I wear every year buy The size was almost the same in inches (about 0.5 per inch difference in all measurements) so I figured it would be fine. In reality it is MUCH larger and barely fits in, it has already slipped out onto the pasture. I also have a Gypsy Cobb and it will not fit her in any way because it is WAY small so I have no idea what breed of Cobb they are targeting…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Good but not great

Not durable at all.

Ordered 2 of these masks, a Cobb and a regular size. They arrived on Monday May 11th. As of yesterday, May 13, the size one horse has been smashed. The black mesh already has 2 tears and one of the seams above the eye is folded inwards and sticking to the corner of my horse's eye. Yesterday he was following me through the pasture until I finally realized he was trying to tell me to take it off and I literally had to remove the black power supply from the corner of his eye which was filled with…

  • Great design

Great fly mask! in pest control

I don't know, with all the bad reviews, I LOVE this fly mask. I live in Illinois, we need a fly mask 3 months out of the year (and then it's cold again) and I certainly don't expect a fly mask to last more than 3 months. I have a TWH with a big head. The big one fits her perfectly. The material is thick and durable. It covers the nose perfectly. The black mesh is thick, which makes it stiff, which I like because it doesn't rub against your eyes or muzzle again. I like the double velcro closure.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Mixed feelings; strong and good protection but slips on horse's eyes

I can't decide what to think of this fly mask. Pros: It lasted most of the summer making it more durable than many fly masks - keeps flies off my horse's muzzle and ears - usually stays on horse overnight - attractive and great color (easy to find too when the horse is ridden by them) - my horse with a pink nose doesn't have sunburn on his nose so expanding his nose clearly works Bad: Something in the design causes this mask to "collapse" over my horse's eyes " (one larger than the other but…

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
