I don't know, with all the bad reviews, I LOVE this fly mask. I live in Illinois, we need a fly mask 3 months out of the year (and then it's cold again) and I certainly don't expect a fly mask to last more than 3 months. I have a TWH with a big head. The big one fits her perfectly. The material is thick and durable. It covers the nose perfectly. The black mesh is thick, which makes it stiff, which I like because it doesn't rub against your eyes or muzzle again. I like the double velcro closure. My mare used to try wiping her fly masks but with this one she doesn't clean at all. I'm very pleased. Some people mentioned that she didn't have a hole for the forelock. No no. My mare has a REALLY long and thick forelock. I solved this problem by spitting a forelock on her. Ideal! Problem solved. I highly recommend this fly mask.
