I bought them because they each had two tabs to hold the veggies in place. I love making veggie kebabs but hate it when you turn the kebab and while the skewer is turning the veggies stay the way it was. They'll obviously get hot, so you have to be careful when turning them over or removing vegetables from them. I'd recommend using a paper towel to hold the top and a fork to help push down the bar to pop out the veggies. Note: Since the pusher is hot, it's almost not necessary since I'm already pushing it down with the fork. I think you could maybe use wooden kebab sticks and use two instead. But it gets rid of unnecessary waste.
