I wish I had found this long ago. I drizzle mine with oil before slicing meat or vegetables for even easier removal after grilling. It was very easy to turn the skewers on the grill with long handled grill tongs. A little attention is required when loading the skewers so that the two prongs do not cross or diverge. I will order more!

Just received and they look great. One slider was completely wedged, but a little encouragement from the vise helped. I suspect the above features are probably positives, but they haven't been used yet. The delivery time was great and the packaging was very well done ie. Each pin was protected by a plastic end and each skewer was also encased in plastic. I look forward to using them as individual skewers don't hold food steady.

These skewers solved the problem of objects being able to rotate around a skewer. Now everything is fried on all sides. The stainless steel is easy to clean and the small slider works well to move food from the skewer to the plate; no mess. Should have bought these years ago. I found them to be a lot cheaper than those with brand names stamped or painted on. I recommend them to anyone who wants a great grilling solution without the mess.

I thought double skewers would make it more stable than single skewers. I also like that it had a piece to push the food away. In theory this is a great idea, but I find it difficult to thread food onto it. For some reason the first time you add food the skewers don't want to stay together and separate the veggies and towards the end the skewers get twisted and hard to press. Now I'm looking for individual skewers to replace these.

Making kebabs for the first time and they are just amazing. very easy to use. That is if you remove the plastic caps from the LOL tips. The first two are used. I hadn't figured it out yet and couldn't figure out why they were harder to put on. Nothing fell down, nothing can be heard. So we have 13 inch skewers. The food-resistant portion doesn't slide back to the back, so you lose four and a half inches that you can't use to flip food. Laying it all the way down leaves eight and a half inches for food. Who does it? Nobody, because he will fall! This means you get a 13" skewer by 7.5". Hole that defeats the whole purpose of double teeth. I would give this zero stars if I could!

I bought them because they each had two tabs to hold the veggies in place. I love making veggie kebabs but hate it when you turn the kebab and while the skewer is turning the veggies stay the way it was. They'll obviously get hot, so you have to be careful when turning them over or removing vegetables from them. I use them for searing chicken breasts in heavily marinated Mediterranean or Indian dishes when you don't want to touch the cooking grate and want to use the spit grate. I used to use single/bamboo skewers on the kebab grill and the meat kept flipping on the heavier side making it impossible to evenly brown the kebabs on all sides.
