My posture when I sit in front of the computer for hours is not the recommended one and I was hoping that this shiatsu massager would help relieve tension in my neck to solve, and it happened. First some details: It has a variable speed, heats up at the push of a button and comes with a power cable and a car socket. When I tried it on my neck it was "high" at first and it was too strong for me. The lowest speed was ideal and it really felt like I was being given a hand massage on my neck - I almost fell asleep. I wear it straight and massage my back just below the waist while sitting in my computer chair and it feels great. "Heat" is just gentle warmth, not like a heating pad, so it would be impossible to burn yourself with it. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it MUST be connected to the network or not working. And I think that the car plug is useless - at least for the driver. Spinning knobs will be too distracting. I'm happy with this massager, I've only had it for a few days and will be updating in a few months to make sure it lasts.
