Review on APDTY 028122 VVT Variable Valve Timing Solenoid & Gasket for Right Side 23796-EA20A - Reliable Performance and Easy Installation by Christopher Wiggins

After I installed this on my Xterra it wouldn't stop the solenoid from leaking oil and it started throwing a few codes. It got bad from the second exit out of the penalty area. I ended up buying a Dorman VVT solenoid and immediately the codes went away and the oil leaks stopped. So honestly with these cheaper parts you have 50/50 whether you get a good part or not. I only recommend choosing well-known brands instead.
