Trying to make the futon more appealing, especially with a modern abstract accent wall, is a challenge. But this case definitely took it up a notch! This cover was a BEAST to get on a futon mattress. I usually hold my futon flat, like a couch. That's right, the instructions include photos of removing the cover when the futon is folded. It took a bit of muscle strength to stretch it to cover the entire mattress, but I managed it in the end. And I suspect it will be easier in the future as it naturally stretches. Looks easy enough to wash off and I love that there are tags to identify which side to put on the back and which side to put on the front. Can't say much about durability as I've only worn it a week ago, but if I run into any issues I'll update my review! In general, the purchase is satisfied. Cons: I have a moderately shedding dog (lab/pet mix) and the coat is DEFINITELY sticky. A few minutes after I put it on the futon, I already noticed all the hair. And since it has little squares, I can't just brush it off. But that's to be expected, anything that's cloth will attract hair. Pros: I love how this cover feels like a bed sheet. My last one was more like a duvet cover that required me to remove the entire mattress.
