Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Effortlessly Control Your Ceiling Fan Temperature with the Hampton Bay Universal Thermostatic Remote by Leonard Babers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best option is to add a remote option to the fan or replace a non-working fan remote!

Used to replace a failed remote module that came with a discontinued fan. It's versatile and can even be connected to a fan with a pull chain/wall switch if you have enough space to hide the wireless RF module in the ceiling. The module that came with this remote was MUCH smaller than the one that originally came with my fan. My fan is less than a year old and was discontinued due to a remote module failure. It was a 10 minute backup job. The remote control is a bit larger than I expected but looks more modern than the ones I had before and has nice features. If your fan's bulb is dimmable, you can dim it with this remote control (simply set the small switch in the battery compartment to "dimmable" first). The temperature setting on the remote works like a charm, but make sure you don't leave the remote in the sun or near a floor or wall fan as this will skew the ambient temperature reading for accurate results. If you want to control your fan remotely or replace an old remote control, this is your best choice.
