A little big but great buy!

Great product, but the rating doesn't fit my subjects. I had to adjust the receiver to fit the outside of the top cap for it to work. The device itself works great. Will buy more for my other fans.

Very happy with it

Very happy with it. Installed a new/replacement Hunter ceiling fan and it fits great. Works perfectly. Everything is fine. If you don't know what you're doing with the wiring, have a professional do it so you don't electrocute yourself (and your remote works properly).

I love this remote control

I love this remote control. The form factor, overall design, and button layout are perfect for this purpose. I have tons of different fan remotes from different brands and some of them are absolutely stupid - I think Hampton Bay really nailed this one.

Great remote for lights and ceiling fans

Installed 3 different remotes/receivers in Hunter ceiling fans. Don't forget to change the dip switch settings to be on different frequencies (match the remote control and receiver). No problems with interference from devices or other fan controls in the room. The timer function is handy if you want the fan to turn on when you fall asleep but don't need it all night. Battery life is good. I don't regret this purchase at all.

Works well with my ceiling fan/light. I bought another type a few years ago and it came with a wall holster to store the remote. Another remote controlled the fan speed as needed to maintain the set room temperature. This remote control runs the fan at low, medium or high speed but does not adjust the speed. This product would be 5 stars if it had something like that. But it works well, looks good and I was happy with it for a while. But the other one I miss the speed control function and will…

The best option is to add a remote option to the fan or replace a non-working fan remote!

Used to replace a failed remote module that came with a discontinued fan. It's versatile and can even be connected to a fan with a pull chain/wall switch if you have enough space to hide the wireless RF module in the ceiling. The module that came with this remote was MUCH smaller than the one that originally came with my fan. My fan is less than a year old and was discontinued due to a remote module failure.
