Excellent Rug Pad! best in my review

I was hesitant purchasing this without any previous reviews, but I took a chance and bought it based on the description. I'm very glad that I did. This is an excellent product. It is as thick as stated (1/2 inch) and made very well. I also purchased a competitors brand for another rug, and in comparison, this rug pad is much better. It's thick, uniform, and provides a very comfortable base for my rug. I highly recommend it.Update 6/9/17 I have had this for almost a year and have added photos today. It has flattened a bit, which is natural, but this rug pad continues to provide a comfortable foundation for my rug. True, it doesn't have a non-slip bottom, and for good reason; many people have wood floor finishes that are susceptible to scratches from rugs that have a non-slip bottom layer. As for the rug slipping, I haven't had a problem with it moving at all. I have furniture on it, so my experience may be different than those of you who don't. I also have an 8x10 rug, which is heavy, so this helps it to stay in place. If you need non-slip and to also protect your floors, I would recommend placing something like the "Gorilla Grip 8x10-Feet Non-Slip Area Rug Pad for Hard Floors" or similar (NOTE: I have NOT tried this brand, it's just an example to look at on revain) under this eco-plush rug pad. Personally, I wouldn't use the suggested non-slip pad alone, as it wouldn't provide the lift and cushion that the eco-plush does. However, it would help if you happen to be a customer who is concerned with sliding rugs and protecting your floors' finish while maintaining loft and comfort.
