The device works perfectly. I tried to measure the wattage but thought that the humidity might not be high enough to get the full wattage even though the unit was running during the 6 hour test. I use it in an air treated pantry that is subject to some air leakage from the attic but also vented to the air conditioned hallway space. So I can't tell if he's producing the advertised pints per day. The only drawback: the drain hose came kinked, not rolled, i.e. severely kinked in many places. I was able to use it by pinching the folds and pasting them over. The rest of the packaging was great and arrived on time.
