Review on ⚡️ Ultimate Speed and Security: Certified Spigen Thunderbolt Charging Transfer by Tasha Price

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works great with Thunderbolt (see details). Recommended part number

I've always liked Spigen, although when I think of a brand I usually think of phone accessories. Given that they make a wide range of chargers, USB-C cables are easy to achieve, right? Well, I have a lot of USB-C cables. Do you know what I don't have? Thunderbolt cable. Almost all of my hardware is based on AMD processors, so I haven't worked too much in the TB ecosystem. I now have an Ice Lake laptop, a TB dock and a few PCs with TB3 on board so it's time to make sure I have the right cables. But is the Spigen USB 4 cable the right cable? Sure, it's USB-IF certified for USB 4 (which I don't have yet), but what about Thunderbolt? Well, the product page says it's compatible, but shouldn't Thunderbolt cables have lightning bolts on the end? Here you will get the Spigen logo. Hm. I tried the Sabrent TB3 to NVMe case to see what I get. With speeds in excess of 2Gb/s, it's clear I'm WAY AWAY FROM USB 3.1 gen2 (and even USB 3.2 2x2). As a bonus, this cable works with the Sabrent without any modification (there are a few misplaced bumps to try and make the Sabrent cable proprietary). At $20 this cable isn't cheap, but it's a good length - lots of TB3/4 cables. a foot long (or shorter). As usual with Spigen, the build quality is excellent. recommended
