People don't realize that their eyes are tricked into interpreting white light as 'brighter'. But there are many tests done online to show that light brightness (lumens) is not the same as light color. These 130% bulbs are definitely brighter (and whiter) than the OEM ones, as you can tell by the way they shine on the road. It's better, but don't pay attention to the plane's landing lights. Note: Photos are not accurate (especially in dark environments) as the camera may change settings slightly to compensate. So be careful with comparison images unless the person knows how to take pictures in manual mode with fixed white balance. And for those disappointed with the shorter lifespan, these types of bulbs (halogen) inherently have a shorter lifespan as *all* these bulbs gain extra brightness by over-stretching the filament. This is the only way to keep the same wattage (otherwise, higher wattage bulbs usually require a whole new wiring harness to power the bulbs). Confidence to see further down the road. You just have to see it as the price of security.
