I have used electric sharpeners in the past and keep going back to manual sharpeners because none of the electric sharpeners stop when the tip gets sharp. Usually they go and go. This sharpener really stopped and didn't eat my whole pencil! It was too fast. The photo I took shows Prismacolor pencils with three levels of sharpness. I don't see much of a difference between the three sharpness settings, but I just have to use the sharpest setting so it doesn't bother me.
