Many uses including catching seeds when making lemon juice

This is a well designed, durable product that is useful precisely because it is small. Others have pointed out its usefulness in straining tea leaves, powdered sugar, or cocoa. I find it handy for a lot of things, but mostly I use it to catch the seeds when juicing a lemon. I've never found it necessary to use a reamer β€” I mean, it takes so little effort to just cut a lemon in half and squeeze it by hand β€” but in this case, you don't need to improvise with a fork. like a colander, try digging up the seeds with a knife before squeezing the juice out of a lemon, or fish seeds out of food when these strategies inevitably fail. I suddenly find myself making a lemon squeezer in no time, as if I were living the good life in a fancy Parisian cafe. The beauty is that a device that works well for this occasional purpose can also be useful for a variety of other small tasks, rather than sitting in a drawer waiting to be used for its one specific job. Like most OXO products, this filter is well thought out, well made and easy to use.
