Perfect cup of coffee

I use it for camping coffee and it works great. Take 2 cups or 1 cup and a small saucepan. Heat water in the first mug or pot, remove from heat and add a spoonful of coffee grounds. Stir and leave for a few minutes. Place the sieve on top of the second mug and pour the contents of the first mug through the sieve. The perfect cup of coffee. The filter is well built and the mesh is very good at catching very small items.

  • Finally bought
Cons
  • For old

As advertised: kitchen and dining room

Very well made as I always find with OXO products. It's three inches in size, so it's small, and if you're looking to buy one, be sure to check what a three-inch diameter looks like to make sure it's the right one for you. Just a helpful tip for readers: Among the other uses I have for this type of colander is flouring a stone counter while I work with the dough. Makes it easier to receive things, evenly distributes the coating.

  • Crossing my fingers

Sturdy construction but not for matcha tea

Brilliant, strong, good deal. However, it didn't work for what I bought it for, which was sifting finely ground ceremonial tea. The network is too dense. I had to push the tea with a bamboo spoon in sweeping movements. Even with a toothbrush and hot water, tea does not come out of the network. It sparkles after being removed from the dishwasher. I don't know what it can be used for because ground ceremonial matcha tea is just as good as baby powder.

Use it to make tea!

It is very difficult to find a screen with very small meshes. I brew a lot of tea and hate all the spices and leftovers that seep through regular strainers onto the floor. I even tried stacking two strainers but never got the last sip. This sieve filters out almost everything, only the smallest ones (like cinnamon) slip through. I wish I had bought it a lot sooner rather than all that $1 crap that ended up rusting (or not working) and being thrown away. I want one more!

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Large and bulky

GOOD PRODUCT! VERY IMPORTANT!

After several attempts to find a great tea infuser I finally found one that meets all my needs ;-) As expected, OXO launches another great product. This filter is absolutely well made and durable for repeated daily use. I make tea several times a day and this strainer works amazingly well. I have used other filters that filter tea leaves in the past but they are extremely difficult to clean. Some of these have started to discolor as they oxidize, but this one still shines and cleans up easily…

Solves the problem of coffee grounds.

I use the coffee machine to make coffee when camping. The problem with percolators is the base. I don't like coffee grounds in my coffee. Filters are hard if not impossible to find, with the exception of Revain. However, paper filters fail when exposed to moisture such as rain. With this filter I solved all my problems. I place it on the neck of a large carafe and pour sifted coffee through it into the carafe, eliminating the coffee grounds problem. With the sifted coffee in the carafe, I get…

Many uses including catching seeds when making lemon juice

This is a well designed, durable product that is useful precisely because it is small. Others have pointed out its usefulness in straining tea leaves, powdered sugar, or cocoa. I find it handy for a lot of things, but mostly I use it to catch the seeds when juicing a lemon. I've never found it necessary to use a reamer — I mean, it takes so little effort to just cut a lemon in half and squeeze it by hand — but in this case, you don't need to improvise with a fork. like a colander, try digging…
