Sulfuric acid. on epilator

As my brother uses this product for his balls and cracks I thought it would be safe for me too. I've been shaving there for many years because I thought it would be easier and more convenient. I was wrong. Wisely, I checked a small area just below the navel. I washed the area with soap and water as recommended. A few seconds after applying the gel, the skin began to burn, the pain increasing with each passing second, but I was determined to endure the required time. I couldn't bear the pain for about 5 minutes. Using a scraper to remove the cream along with the hair was unbearable. I dampened a washcloth with cold water and gently wiped the affected area. Having worked in chemistry labs most of my life, I know what acid burns look and feel like. The treated area of skin looked as if it had been burned with concentrated sulfuric acid. The removed hair looked "melted", the skin was bright red, and blood spattered where the hair used to be. There were small bumpy blisters, and when I blotted the area with a damp cloth, small bits of flesh spilled out, leaving open, bloody sores. Cool water for 15 minutes. The pain finally subsided and I applied plenty of cortisone burn ointment. dressed every day for almost 2 weeks and it took months for the skin to fully heal. How my brother can merrily smear his boys in this acid without burning them is beyond me. I'm so glad I did the recommended test before smearing that dangerous crap all over my crotch. Therefore, be sure to follow the instructions in the letter. DO NOT apply this stuff to your pocket and crack. you have been warned
