They could probably be a bit cheaper but you get 6 of these with 2 remotes and they work really well. I saw another reviewer say they needed a separate remote control for each light, but that would just be a nuisance in my opinion. I like the fact that they all respond to one of the remote controls. Sometimes when one of the lights is on the opposite side of the room the message isn't always understood, but they usually all change in unison, which I like. If I really want them to do different things, I can always touch them one by one. .The fact that there are 2 remote controls is good, because one of them can break or just get lost. It might even be my fault, but I have a fallback. Having two remotes also means I can place a couple of them in another room. They're all in my bedroom right now, but I could easily spread them around the house. I haven't had it long enough to comment on the battery life, but I did have to buy a couple of rechargeable batteries, but that's preferable to charging or running with USB cables, at least for my purposes.
