Dimmable, they run on 12v AC. Landscape transformer

I didn't buy them for a car or RV. I bought these for some wooden poles I made using cheap solar lantern housings. I loved the metal and glass solar lanterns, but the small solar panels are plastic and quickly fog up, resulting in the lights not working for months. I used one of the four LED panels in each street light. The light is dimmable and works great with a 12 volt AC transformer in landscape mode. I have two 200 watt landscape transformers, one on each side of my house, for backyard lighting. I only use 12V DC LED bulbs, COB LED bulbs, LED strips, LED strings and now these. Although they are all advertised as 12V DC, they all work great with a 12V AC landscape transformer. These panels can also be controlled remotely. I bought my RF remotes for less than $2 each including the LED controller/dimmer as pictured. Remote controls work with a voltage of 5 to 30 volts. I use the same 5 volt remotes under the case USB LEDs that I have in my garage. They have USB connectors on the controller wires, not just bare wires. They work great for such cheap remotes. They are very useful for low voltage LED projects. I tested the panel on my desktop power supply to see what the real performance is. Each panel draws about 176 mA at 12 volts. Just over two watts per panel. The panels are very bright, but the color temperature is whiter than I would like. I wish they were warm white. I also opened a panel (see image). Inside is a very simple circuit of two 2438 LEDs on each side connected in series with two current limiting resistors. The resistors drop 6 volts, leaving 3 volts for each LED on each side. The two sides are connected in parallel. The only problem I have with these jigs is that the wires are very short if you want to use the panels separately like I did and the wires appear to be aluminum instead of copper. I also expected some heat issues, but they barely feel warm. For the price, highly recommended for any 12V project, AC or DC.
