I bought a pair of these for my sister's wedding, which had an outdoor ceremony. I got the classic size, which fit my normal heels just fine (I was too lazy to measure, but it sounds like that is the way to go if you are nervous about sizing). I had no problems with getting them on the shoe - they snapped on quite snugly - or with sinking during the pictures and ceremony. It hadn't rained in quite some time, so the ground was very firm and I thought that I might not have sunk regardless, but all of the other female guests complained that they had been sinking the entire time and wanted to know where I'd gotten these. I really recommend them, and I'll be wearing them to any outdoor events in the future!
