Review on πŸ’¨ Efficient and Accurate: Freeman FATDTI Digital Tire Inflator with LCD Pressure Gauge by Mack Douglas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The inflation trigger did NOT work until I did the following:

Bought to make it easier to check and inflate in one step. I first used it to check the tires on my parents' car before a long drive in Idaho. Complete failure as the inflation trigger did absolutely NOTHING. I even tried getting under the actual trigger with a screwdriver to depress the valve further than the trigger would allow. NOTHING. The priming button worked great, as did the block that shows the pressure readings. I've tried everything I can think of but the trigger does NOTHING. Ridiculous. I bought it in July, so the return period has already passed. Really disappointing. Update: Upon further investigation I found that the end of the linkage on the handle that connects to the hose was clogged. That's how it happened. Not sure what the material was, but it looked like Elmer's dried glue. I was able to clean it by removing the fitting from the handle and using a small, long screwdriver. I used some teflon tape and screwed it back onto the handle. Now it works as it should. If YOU run out of air, check the fitting at the base of the handle for clogs.
