Review on TP-Link 10GB PCIe Network Card (TX401) - 10 Gigabit Ethernet Network Adapter for Windows/Linux, Including CAT6A Ethernet Cable by Alfonso Wilson

10 Gb/s in the budget?

I replaced my Intel I350-T4 with this TX401 without any problems. Before installing, make sure you have already downloaded the latest drivers to a USB flash drive or directly to your hard drive. Windows 10 doesn't automatically install drivers for it, leaving you without a network connection. You don't need to reboot after installing the drivers, but you can do it just in case. I bought this to work with an Asus RT-AX89X and as you can see in my screenshot the connection is set to 10Gbps. If you are considering 10Gbps for a $100 budget then I would say it should be on your shortlist. Be sure to use at least CAT6 for ranges up to 55m/180ft and CAT6A for ranges up to 100m/328ft. It comes with a 1.5m CAT6A cable.
