Addendum to Kitchen and Bath Plumbing Report

***** This is an update of my report. I had to re-glue all the broken legs. Since then they have all gone away. I used an industrial metal and plastic automotive adhesive that was heat and water resistant. Still not held back. I had to use metal screws to reattach the legs. This is a defective product. And as some other reviewers have pointed out, there are holes on the sides near the top. This effectively reduces the water capacity by two inches. If they fixed both issues I would give five stars. Anyway, one star is too many. Take my advice - stay away from this product! Very strong, solid. Looks great. It looks like it will last a long time. Fits well in the sink. I have a household sink so I wish it was a little taller, but for standard sinks this is probably the perfect size. I would have given this tub 5 stars if all four legs - each one - hadn't come out of the tub. I use pretty hot water when washing my dishes and I assume the glue they use to attach it isn't very heat resistant. And I'm not talking about boiling water; I have bare hands in the water. For the price of this tub, the legs had to be bolted on and sealed. I needed to find an automotive adhesive that would work well with rubber/metal and be heat/water resistant. They have broken down since I fixed them myself. It's hard to believe that the manufacturer didn't even consider and check this situation. Just be prepared to fix the legs yourself if they come loose.

Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
