Having recently invested heavily in solar panels, I was curious to see the effect of sunny days on cloudy days. This gadget provides up-to-the-second monitoring of electricity consumption or its savings (energy fed into the grid). I am very happy with it. Very reliable in my Note 9, Android device and in my PC. The cost is minimal, $39 dollars. Combined with my Enphase microinverter software and my solar panel software, I can calculate energy usage for each day, week, and month. This gadget does not provide individual circuit readings, for that you need to make another investment. and connect monitors to each of the reading circuit breakers. I am considering purchasing for my system to accommodate them. But I wonder if it's worth the investment. By the way, this works in my Smart PG&E meter, which is a requirement for this monitor to work. They have a list of energy providers that customers can check. However, the listing said that my space was eligible, but I got a notification that my space was not eligible. I called PG&E and they said they had it near me and proceeded to put me through. Voila, the Emporia software worked its magic and my monitor recorded a reading about 40 feet away from me. I hope this helps you decide.
