looks good but very bad product!

The 50 amp RV power supply looks very good. However, trying to install it, it becomes clear that the product has serious flaws. The first thing to note is that the socket is mounted upside down (neutral is on top of the plate) to be used with an RV plug as the large power cord will not fit in the box. The input / output of the cable is at the bottom of the box. Break-out plugs are not slotted and must be drilled out! The green ground wire is too short and is factory attached to the ground terminal with a set screw against the insulation, not the wire. The mounting design for the white, red, and black wires is grossly unsuitable for the 6 gauge wire required for 50 amps. There is a smooth finish with a tiny grub screw shank that compresses the wire, but when fully tightened the wire falls out with any attempt to reinstall the socket back into the box. I have installed many boxes of this type and this is the worst I have ever seen. My take on this is that this should not be sold to anyone!
