They burn terribly right away

The whole point of these rocks is to be in fire, and they burn up right away.
We turned on our fire pit for the first time and the rocks in the center got visibly singed in seconds. So disappointed!

Pros

I used this at the bottom of my gas wood fireplace as a reflection effect so pretty

Cons

The glass can be difficult to position properly in a fire pit or fireplace

Beautiful update to our 20 year old fireplace and replacement for the previous “lava rocks”. Love how they sparkle when the fire is lit. I ordered 2 bags for my standard sized fireplace, and used it all.
