You're probably here because you realize that standard/big name brand sponges look the same and smell moldy very quickly, which is one of my hated ones smells of the world. I really wanted to fall in love with these sponges because I really love the colors. Unfortunately, I can't tell if they really don't emit an odor or if they don't last long enough for an odor to develop. With very simple everyday use (not very intense rubbing), the brown "dirty" part of the sponge begins to disintegrate. Pretty soon after about 2 weeks you will find yourself throwing it away and getting a new sponge. You can use sustainable materials to make a product, but it's counterintuitive when that product barely lasts and the consumer ends up consuming it more often.
