Review on Rhino Glue Gel: Ultra Strong Heavy Duty Adhesive - 40g Clear Formula by Christian Byrd

Although my first application of Rhino Glue was a failure, I blame myself for the technique I used. I tried to glue the crumbling plastic vine back to the garden chair but I think I was trying to do too much and couldn't maintain the correct pressure for the time required to install. But then I came across another application that gave results that were hard to believe. I had some old (but never used) sanding belts that I wanted to use with my electric belt sander. The "factory" glue holding the diagonal seam together broke just two seconds after I tried to sand down the project I was working on. I figured what the heck and tried another old but unused belt. This time the seam came undone just from running my sander; No pressure was applied. Since I really didn't want to throw these straps away, I decided to use Rhino glue. What's the worst that can happen? They have already been dismantled and sent to the trash can. To my surprise, the straps I glued with Rhino glue held up perfectly. In fact, I sanded with a band for about 30-40 minutes and it worked like new - and is still holding up! Attached is a photo of the belt after use. It's hard to believe that an adhesive applied to a flexible medium like abrasive belt would achieve such a result, but it's true.
