Review on 📏 Accurate Measurements Made Easy: Steelex D3383 Precision Square 4 Inch by Drake Burroughs

I bought one of these D3384 squares a few years ago and it arrived in Steelex packaging and was accurate and worked well so I ordered another. The one I just received came in the oiled packaging (that others have mentioned), bubble wrapped and mailed in a padded envelope. To me it looks like a broken square that should be scrapped. The outer beam/blade angle is 90 degrees, so it gets two stars for that. But the inner edge of the blade is bulbous and has an uneven width throughout its length. Also, the 1" wide blade is 1/64" beveled where it attaches to the beam. This creates a curve along the entire length of the blade, so even using a single good edge is problematic as the edge of the blade is not on the inside. The same plane throughout its length Of course, it returns in the same soft shell in which it appeared.
