I recently bought a white duvet and wanted to decorate a guest bed. The room is lavender in color and I never thought I would have trouble finding items to decorate. I couldn't find a color that looked nice and matched the color of the walls. The items I ordered looked purple instead of lavender and the purple hues just didn't match. I chose white pillows and then added this purple flower for a pop of color. The flower is for decoration only. It's not very soft and I wouldn't use it to lie down, but I like it on the bed. I think the pillow is a bit overpriced but it's cute and I ordered it anyway. The pillow comes in two separately packaged items; cover and pillow insert. The insert is very flat until you open the packaging and it comes alive!
