Perfect plug and play for laptop
Ordered and returned a different brand external hard drive which required a software download to use. I'm pretty good with computers, but I didn't want to mess with them. I needed one that could be easily plugged in via USB and ready to go right out of the box. All requirements were thus fully met. I've uploaded over a hundred CDs to my iTunes library with it and everything works great. Used probably 15-20 hours with no problems. Great price and highly recommend.
