The only thing I don't like about this scale is that the tare symbol does not work stably. Sometimes the tare symbol appears on the screen; but often this is not the case. Tare is used when you only want to weigh the item and not the container. You place an empty container or plate on the scale, then zero the weight of the container and then place the item you want to weigh on the plate/container. When zeroing, the tare icon should appear on the screen. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. However, the scale will display "0” after zeroing, and the weight of the item after it is placed on the plate/pan will be accurately displayed. And you can re-zero if you want to add another element to the plate/container. Otherwise the range is large. There is no need to change batteries as this scale is rechargeable. Almost 2 months later I still haven't had to charge the scale. I use this scale to measure the food I eat. I had stomach weight loss surgery and weighing food is a must. Great product except for the Tare symbol/icon issue. I was unable to contact the manufacturer for help with this issue.
