There are 8 of these devices scattered around my large house. The devices are generally good, but on some of them the sound quality can be a little less clear. My biggest problem with these devices is that they don't sit securely in the stand and it's driving me nuts! They fall out easily if you touch them or move the table they're on or anything else that gets in their way - and they'll fall out! - They practically jump out! They're pretty durable - they don't seem to break no matter how many times they fall - which happens quite often! If AT&T had made the mount (base) deeper so the device wouldn't fall out as easily, I think the product would be much better. I think they know the sound quality isn't perfect, although most of the time it's ok, just not "great!" - often a little "muffled". Additionally, the "cradle" (base) is very light - which might be a good thing for some people - but I've found that it easily falls off the table with even the slightest "pull" or "push". "He has no "weight" or "substance" which causes him to fall to the ground quite often! This can be annoying!
