not fully compatible with CL8241 purchased August 2010

Home office. original purchase was 6 phones, 3 lost/replaced over time; A new replacement has different features, different programming and a very poor instruction manual. will soon be replaced by another supplier/manufacturer. it's not the same AT&T. DO NOT REPLACE COMPONENTS, PURCHASE THE WHOLE SYSTEM FROM ANOTHER SUPPLIER.

Won't sync with my phone

This phone said it was compatible with my phone. I've been trying to sync it for three days. I went to the Fed-Ex and UPS store, printed out the label, contacted Revain, I wanted to send it back. This phone shipped about three or four weeks ago. I haven't received a refund yet. The phone was packaged well and looked great. I just couldn't get it to work with my phone.

Used to add a 3rd phone to my existing phone

Used to add a 3rd phone to my existing phone. I already had two headsets in my house and needed to add a third. I first bought a used device and it didn't work. After several hours trying to program my used phone I returned it. None of the buttons worked and the screen didn't display properly. I spent a few bucks more on a brand new headset and it took five seconds to connect to my existing line. I think it's great that I now have three cordless phones at home.

Suitable for some AT&T phone systems. No standalone phone.

We have this phone system and a phone broke (probably dropped several times) so we bought this as a replacement. It does not work as a standalone phone, but requires a suitable base. One of the great features for us is the intercom. We can call one phone or all the phones in this system from one of the phones. So if someone is on another floor or behind closed doors, you can contact them. The only thing I didn't like was that due to DECT technology I couldn't use my normal plug-in headset and…

Good price but some problems.

There are 8 of these devices scattered around my large house. The devices are generally good, but on some of them the sound quality can be a little less clear. My biggest problem with these devices is that they don't sit securely in the stand and it's driving me nuts! They fall out easily if you touch them or move the table they're on or anything else that gets in their way - and they'll fall out! - They practically jump out! They're pretty durable - they don't seem to break no matter how many…
