I had misfires on cylinder 4 so I changed the spark plug and decided to change the wires. The difference was (surprisingly) noticeable! My 2000 Xterra has 280,000 miles and I don't think the cables have ever been changed. It made a big difference! My car has much smoother acceleration and I don't feel any misfires. We'll see how long it lasts but I wish I had replaced it many years ago. worth your money. While Nissan's 3.3-liter V6 spark plug number 6 intimidates you, don't worry too much about it. Replacing the cable at number 6 proved quite doable (replacing the plug itself is another story).
