I originally bought this with some skepticism. I had a Ring Doorbell Pro that had been in the box for two years because my doorbell system had an 8 volt transformer and the new Ring Doorbell Pro required 16-24 volts. I could not find an installed transformer, contractor or contractor. So I waited for a decision. Then I came across this device and decided to give it a try. I had to bypass my current system and call, but I tried. This device works great with my Ring Doorbell Pro and Ring Chime has achieved everything I hoped it would. The power cord is only 180 inches long but can be connected to an extra cord if needed. Very satisfied!
