I bought many cables to find the right way to power my graphics cards in my setup, but they all didn't work as easily as this dual PCIe cable . It was a very easy install and very clean wiring. The dual PCIe cable is just long enough to power the 8-pin GPU and 6-pin adapter simultaneously, with extra length to keep it away from the GPU. I used an Evga 1000W G1+ to power my rig by connecting the standard end of the PCIe cable to my PSU's PCIe connector and the other (6+2) 6-pin end to a dual PCIe cable and then connected the dual PCIe to the riser. and GPU.
