Good set but no instructions for use.

Please note that this set contains parts for ONE SET of plugs each. So if you want two pairs of 3-pin plugs, you'll either need to buy two sets or use one 4-pin. Attach the pin and close the remaining hole on each side. This includes a set of 2 and 3 pin connectors despite what the product description says. You will notice that even in the photos there is only one in each set. Otherwise this is a good set of waterproof connectors. The parts are designed so that the cables on the back of the system are routed precisely through the rubber grommets (on both end caps) to prevent water from entering the connectors. The latch also has a seal to prevent water from entering the connection. The pins and sockets are large but will work well with most commercial crimping machines rated for this gauge of wire. The only issue I have with this kit is that there is no indication of how the pieces fit together to achieve the goal of being waterproof. It is assumed that you know how to use them if you buy them. As a general example, the red rubber backs are detachable and flexible enough to handle a variety of cords. It is usually removed from the gray housing, then the wires are passed through, the ends are crimped, those crimped ends are inserted into the gray housing and the gasket is fed up the wires and back into the housing. The case has self-locking handles for each pin inside, which are further secured by installing green (female) or orange (male) inserts after all pins are locked. These inserts secure the locks in the gray housing and ensure consistent positioning of the corresponding pins. Please note that the gray housings are keyed in one direction only and have at least one latch to hold the housings together after installation. I would like to note that contrary to the manufacturer's photos above, the orange (male) case is usually used in a more deeply shielded gray case, with the female (green) part being used on the exposed part with the gasket. This kit allows either side to be male or female. Placing the tines in the shielded portion reduces contact of the tines with metal objects when the socket is disconnected and hanging freely. (The socket pins are flush, so they are in the sealed part with no shroud.) The overall layout is shown in my second drawing.
