Review on ๐ŸŽฎ ASUS TUF GT301 Gaming PC Case by Somsak Saladang แ Œ

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Some kind of defective product, I definitely wont buy it anymore.

For myself, I decided that I would rivet the body and repaint it white, since there is a garage, a spray gun and hands from the right place. There will be my own White Edition, just me (and Michael Jackson). The case is really very compact. Do not be lazy to look / read reviews before buying. But I got everything - dropsy AiO, a 300 mm vidyuha for almost 3 slots, 3 SSDs (though 2 of them are m.2)), 2 hard drives, and even a pretty Cyberpunk 2077 logo on a small pedestal.

Pros
  • The body is cute. An amateur, of course, but cute. I bought it mainly because of the design, as I am building a system on the mono sub-brand Tuf Gaming. 1) I liked 3 hundred and twenty with addressable RGB backlighting and an ARGB splitter for 6 places (3 are already occupied by coolers) in the kit. 2) A headphone hook came in handy, which can be hung both on the left and on the right. 3) The glass of the left side wall is tempered, slightly tinted, of sufficient thickness, the frame of the glass is small. 4) Another point that made me decide on this case is a seat for a 2.5 "SSD on the casing that covers the power supply. Not many cases in this size offer this (well, Fractal, NZXT and be quiet!). me a nice 1 TB SSD file cleaner from T-Force x TUF Gaming Alliance, with backlight, you donโ€™t need to hide this one somewhere in the back. 5) The ability to organize synchronized lighting even without the ADD_HEADER connector on the motherboard. The button for changing modes / switching off is on the front panel. 6) A very important point for me is the blowing of the case. Everything is in order with it, no components overheat. 7) Undeclared by the manufacturer, the ability to install a 240 mm dropsy not only in front, but also on top of the case, helps if you have a long graphics card. For understanding, without dropsy, vidyuhi up to 320 mm long fit on the front panel, with SVO installed in front - up to 295 mm. 8) Steady legs that won't get lost on their own like on my old Corsair.
Cons
  • Savings that are visible. That's subjective, the body feels like a product from some AeroCool'a or InWin'a for three thousand. If in more detail: 1) The thickness of the metal. It's probably hard to expect more from a case at this price, but the previous Corsair 200r feels much stronger and more solid. If there was a window in my old building, I would not change it. 2) Thumb screws securing the walls. Seriously though, the devil is in the details and these lambs look and feel very cheap. 3) Usual screws without winglets for fastening the vidyuhi. Well, Asus . 2022, and you fasten the expansion slots on the back wall with screws for a Phillips screwdriver . It's a shame. 4) The absence of the White Edition in white at the time of purchase. Compare how much richer and more interesting the white GT501 looks compared to the black one. And on white, dust is less noticeable. 5) Not too much room for cable management in the back. I would say back to back. 6) Only 120 mm coolers can be hung from above, for the 140s Asus was not allowed to make holes by the R&D budget, apparently. For cases of similar dimensions, 2,140 on top is far from uncommon. 7) Price. Thanks to the exchange rate, that such a box in terms of costs almost a dozen, with a fair price IMHO of 4-5 thousand. For some, all this will seem like nit-picking, but no two people are the same, so this is just my experience and the disadvantages that I did not like.

With its pros. - for its size, it is quite roomy, an atx-motherboard with cable management fits quite normally - excellent hull ventilation - you can install 2-3 more turntables Its cons: - no lights on the rear cooler, stingy
