I've been using these bulbs for a few years now
A few years ago when we were renovating a home I asked a contractor to install a light in front of the house that could stay on all night for a small price. He installed this fixture which uses a Satco S3130 2100K 35W high pressure sodium lamp with a clear ED17 center cap. They last three to five months and actually last most of the day because I live in the forest. I was happy with the attitude.
