Do this to keep your application intact
Apply a coat of contact cement to the entire surface to be coated. Let it dry completely and then attach the contact paper. By following this prep procedure, you don't have to worry about the paper rising or bubbling up when the room (the RV in my case) gets hot. This paper is thick and sticks easily to dry glue, keeping the application square and you will have no installation errors. Try this method with flexible, thin, cheap contact paper and if you don't lay it flat you will have defects.
