The computer died after 11 months of warranty. However, warranty service is not available in the Charlotte, NC area, although 5 repair locations are listed there. These centers state that they do not perform warranty work on HP computers. These places indicate that they could not remove their names from the HP list. It seems that once a computer leaves HP's doors, you're on your own as the warranty they advertise is utterly useless.
