I bought mine direct from Extech but they don't have a verification tool. I had a $10 conductivity meter that was junk and I usually use the $$$$ YSI DSSPro to monitor river water quality. YSI had questionable EC calibration from time to time and I needed a personal meter for daily measurements so I bought the EC100. Calibration was tight out of the box and I used one of my own calibration solutions to fine-tune. I then performed a three-point calibration, which turned out to be linear. It is very pleasant that a glass of calibration liquid serves its purpose. A weekend in the field proved YSI was finally right. The EC100 ended the weekend 1 microsiemens higher than at the beginning. nearly perfect. Like YSI, this reads the temperature compensated conductivity.
