This pillow has a two piece construction: A queen sized pillow insert filled with decent bits of shredded memory foam. An outer cotton cover has two additional 1" pockets of microfiber thread that cushion the chunks and makes the pillow massive.The 2 pack arrives in a small box with each pillow folded in thirds, individually vacuum sealed to barely half an inch thick. It also includes a half-gallon zipper bag. After taking apart the outer cover I was able to inflate the inner by squishing down and crumbling apart stuck together bits occasionally over 6 hours. Once reassembled, the pillow was so large it had to be squeezed into a queen size pillowcase.All in all, it was perfect for what I was looking for: Shredded memory foam with cotton instead of bamboo rayon. The excessive heft and hardness was solved by removing enough foam from one pillow to fill the included zipper bag, but I will need a gallon bag to adjust both.
