I had these shoes almost 3 weeks. I work in a canteen kitchen. The shoes are amazingly comfortable and have great arch support and I was really hoping they would be suitable for kitchen use but they can't. The sole is not slippery and these are literally the worst shoes I have ever had when walking on water on bottom. If you touch even a drop of water on the ground, you'll slip as if on ice! Today there was a woman in my kitchen who had the same shoes (that's why I bought them and the reviews), she slipped on a very small drop of water in those shoes! She has a damaged tailbone! It's not worth it. I am lucky that mine is within the return window and I am returning these shoes. So far I love the rest of the shoe, but unless Dansko can put a REAL anti-slip outsole on the shoe, it's not worth it, especially at 145! I hope those who work in a commercial kitchen read this and DO NOT buy these shoes or you'll be skating!
