I have used this solenoid to drive a 12v Viair supercharger in my pickup truck air suspension system and it works great! Much better than the pressure switch/switch combo that came with my compressor. I just connected the hot side trip wire to the ignition switch source and negative via a toggle switch and a standard push button switch so I can turn it off manually or turn it off by itself when the machine isn't running
