INTRODUCTION. A few years ago I bought a Clarity phone for home use. I wanted to have a phone designed for people with hearing loss because although I can hear well sometimes they have a hard time hearing when talking to someone on a mobile phone or to a support specialist in India. I was fairly happy with the phone, despite the fact that the user guides were terrible, the buttons didn't feel good, and the handset's speakerphone wasn't as loud and clear as I'd like. LAST SHOPPING. I couldn't find anything that looked better so I recently ordered this Clarity phone for use in my office. I am very happy with it as all the shortcomings of the previous phone have been eliminated. It now comes with a nice user manual, the buttons are more comfortable (tactile feedback) and the speakerphone is now loud and clear enough to be easy to use. In addition, the answering machine can now be set to sound. every 10 seconds when a message is pending. I like this feature because sometimes I forget to check if someone left me a message. And the new phone has a very useful tone control that gives you easy access to four different trebles, allowing me to turn a faint, muddy connection into an easy-to-understand conversation. As before, the phone allows you to increase the volume very much when you have a weak connection. And now the buttons on the phone are backlit, which can be handy in low-light conditions. Since I don't have hearing problems, the objections of some other reviewers were not a problem for me. And so far, although the phone is fairly new, it works well. I am sorry for everyone who received a defective item. Maybe I got lucky with that. But I'm happy to report that it's been working well so far and is a pleasure to use. Kind regards.
