I chose this phone based on my satisfaction with other Clarity phones I own. It's about as good as they come. I find that the hands-free function works best for me. My hearing has significantly deteriorated and I wear hearing aids in both ears. They don't bother with phone calls, but they usually help.

I just bought my second Clarity answering machine. I had my first when I was 15 and never had a problem with it. The latest model was so attractive that I had to buy it. Technology has improved over the last 15 years and I am more than happy with this new phone. I would highly recommend it to anyone with mild to moderate hearing problems. I'm not hard of hearing, I don't know if this will help people with severe hearing impairments.

I love this phone very much because of the clarity and ease of hearing the person who calls me, a person who misses jokes in many conversations. I also like to sit somewhere in the room in my comfortable armchair and relax with it. There are settings for all personal preferences for comfortable listening. In addition, a very nice phone and easy to use and handle. The big numbers are perfect and the symbols tell me all the features. Excellent goods!

I would return this if I could. My elderly parents could not play messages on this phone. I thought they just didn't understand how to use it, but when I finally visited them I couldn't get it to work either. You can leave a message, but the phone doesn't indicate that there is a message, so there's nothing to play. They missed several doctor's appointments because people thought they were leaving messages. I tried calling customer service # but was told their inbox is full and no more messages

I have been using this phone for many years. A few years ago I stumbled across a search for a cordless telephone with an answering machine for my 90 year old mother who is hard of hearing. I tried a few but she couldn't hear them well. None of them were loud enough, they sounded muffled and distorted when the speaker was turned on or off. I only ordered three phones. There are no batteries included in all packages. 1. Telephone receiver was defective. no speakerphone. The second phone has a defective base station. The 3rd phone had no batteries. May I note that all three packages were opened and probably returned from Christmas? I called Clarity the maker of the phone and they sent me AAA batteries for a phone I was leaving after they got a handset base for a phone I was leaving. Do not buy from this seller.
