Beautiful, excellent quality, and a very reasonable price

When searching for a sterling silver necklace urn to keep a physical essence my beloved cat Stella always close to me, I was disheartened to see the cost of most of them felt like people in grief and mourning like myself are being taken advantage of. I was so happy to finally come upon this beautiful, high quality piece at a very fair price. The size is perfect, and the urn holds a good amount of ashes. However, the chain that comes with it is not strong and could easily break. I can't image having that happen and losing the urn. But many people likely would want a different length of chain, so it actually makes sense to me that what is included would essentially be a throw-away. Fortunately I had a sterling silver chain on a necklace I hadn't worn in years that is very strong with a strong clasp and is the length I wanted - and it works perfectly.I noticed there were complaints that it didn't include a funnel. I already had a tiny funnel, but it didn't work all that well, so I simply folded a piece of copy paper and poured some of her ashes in the crease and then let them slide into the urn. Easy peasy. The screw top seems very solid, yet I might apply glue to the screw it to give extra insurance.I also love that the back is inscribed "Forever in my Heart" as that is the exact sentiment I would have wanted to be engraved on a piece. All I need is to find a couple small silver star charms with some more cubic zirconia to place on either side, and the light that is my Stella Bella (Beautiful Star), will shine bright every day.Thank you for creating something that will give me a bit of comfort every day.-----UPDATE: I wore it for a couple weeks without applying any Krazy Glue to the screw top of the urn. A couple days ago, apparently the friction of it against my clothes managed to unscrew it and the urn fell on the floor. I did not notice it immediately, just felt it was missing a couple minutes later. Thankfully I was not somewhere away from home when this happened as it would likely have been lost. I put a small amount of Krazy Glue on the screw as it bonds metal to metal. I would HIGHLY recommend doing this.

Pros
  • Beautiful!
Cons
  • The pendant may not be secure enough to ensure the ashes remain inside
