Sits too close to baby's face (at least in our car seat)

I was really excited about this because not only does it look adorable but my little one gets restless in the car and I thought it would be a help. The problem is that the way the toy fits in her car seat is about 2 inches from her face. Too close. We only used it one day because it was too easy for her to pull on while playing and because the straps are elastic they bounce back and the toy hits her in the face. Not cool. I will continue to look for a car seat that is a little further away.
